2024 Summer VB & Camp Info for LHS Freshman

PLEASE NOTE: The opportunities below  are not mandatory for athletes to participate in. However, we strongly suggest that you do spend a significant part of your summer training to become a better athlete and volleyball player. Please contact Coach Astle with any financial hardships and she will work with the booster club to ensure that camps can be possible.

SANFORD POWER

  • ·Legacy High School and the Bismarck Public School District are excited to announce that Saber Training has created a partnership with Sanford POWER. Sanford POWER will be assisting in all aspects of Saber Training this summer along with the legacy coaching staff. Saber Training will still be held at Legacy with the assistance of Sanford POWER strength and conditioning specialists. This is an exciting opportunity for our athletes to be trained by coaches certified by the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) and USA-WSPC (Weightlifting Sport Performance Coach)

FUTURE STARS FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL CAMP JUNE 5th & 6th

  • Head Coach, Jenn Astle, and her staff will be running camp at Legacy over the summer for all incoming  freshman volleyball players. This is a great way to be introduced to the offensive and defensive systems used here at Legacy.

OPEN GYM INFO (June 5th-July 23rd)

  • Open gyms will be held  at Legacy High School. Open Gyms are for all players grades 9-12 interested in playing volleyball at Legacy in the fall. These are free and no registration is needed to attend open gyms.​

    • Wednesday Evenings 8:30-9:45 pm (doors open at 8:15pm. Enter through main door.)

    • THERE WILL BE NO OPEN GYMS ON JULY 3rd

SKILLS CAMP INFO (June 11th-July 23rd)

  • Mini skills camps will be held  at Legacy High School for all players grades 9-12 interested in playing volleyball at Legacy in the fall. These are $5 per session and should be paid the day of the session. 

    • Tuesday Mornings 6:00-7:15 am (doors open at 5:45am enter through main door) 

    • No need to register, just come when you can

    • THERE WILL BE NO SKILLS CLINICS ON JULY 2nd
