2025 Summer VB & Camp Info for LHS Freshman

PLEASE NOTE: The opportunities below  are not mandatory for athletes to participate in. However, we strongly suggest that you do spend a significant part of your summer training to become a better athlete and volleyball player. Please contact Coach Astle with any financial hardships and she will work with the booster club to ensure that camps can be possible.

PARENT MEETING

• ·Legacy High School- June 5th @ 5:45pm in the marketplace. This meeting is designed to introduce freshman parents to the booster board, the expectations of high school volleyball participation/fundraising and what to expect this season. ​

SUMMER LIFTING

• ·Legacy High School is excited to offer Summer Strength and Conditioning. This is a course offered for credit throughout the summer. Information can be accessed in the Legacy course catalog.  

• Registration has occured when students registered for their fall classes. Contact your school counselor ASAP to be registered. 

OPEN GYM INFO (June 3rd-July 29th)

• Open gyms will be held  at Legacy High School. Open Gyms are for all players grades 9-12 interested in playing volleyball at Legacy in the fall. These are free and no registration is needed to attend open gyms.​

• Tuesday Evenings 8:00-9:30 pm (Doors will open at 7:45pm. Enter through main door.)

• THERE WILL BE NO OPEN GYMS ON JULY 1st or July 22nd

 

FUTURE STARS FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL CAMP JUNE 4th & 5th

• Head Coach, Jenn Astle, and her staff will be running camp at Legacy over the summer for all incoming  freshman volleyball players. This is a great way to be introduced to the offensive and defensive systems used here at Legacy.

Northern State Camp-

• Freshman will be invited to attend depending on numbers of returning players who plan to attend. This would be on an invite only basis, so it is important to attend the Future Stars Camp in June and open gyms so that the coaches can see you play and what your competitive level is!
