Jenn Astle, a Bismarck native, graduated from Bismarck High School in 2000. Jenn received her bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Elementary Education from the University of Mary where she also played volleyball. She obtained her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Catherine University in 2009.

Coach Astle began her career coaching for the Missouri Valley Junior Olympic Volleyball Club. She spent 5 seasons with them and coached teams at both the 16s and 18s age divisions. In the fall of 2004 she was a student assistant coach at the University of Mary.  In 2005 she was named the junior varsity coach at Bismarck Century High School. She spent 6 seasons coaching for the Patriots. Astle then spent 2 seasons as an assistant coach at Bismarck State College. She has also served as the director of the Century Volleyball Club JO from 2009-2011. In her 20+ years of coaching she has also spent her summers coaching at a variety of youth volleyball camps and clinics across the region. Coach Astle’s has been the Head Coach for the Saber Volleyball team since Legacy has opened in 2013.

Jenn Astle is currently employed by Bismarck Public Schools as an Elementary Physical Education Teacher.  She and her husband, Ryan, have 3 boys; Rigley (17), Emerson (14), and Henley (12).
